Momtographer 365 project

The goal of this blog is to take a picture each day of the year and see where it leads me. I'm doing this for myself as a journal of my journey with my kids over the year and also to force myself to learn to take better photos.

Day 144 6-6-11

I was so busy on this day trying to get my slides together for a talk I had to give today that I only took a very few pictures.  I ended up liking this one of a lonely baby sandal sitting on our journal of Kai's daily schedule.  It's very dark but I still kind of liked it, kind of fit my mood at the time...sitting in the dark feeling lonely because I had to spend time preparing for the talk instead of with my kids.  SS1/80 f/1.8 ISO1600.

Day 143 6-5-11

Joe and Pierce had to mow this morning so Kai ended up with grassy feet!  Love those cute little tootsies!  S1/250 f/3.2 ISO100

Day 142 6-4-11

Saturday night Joe and I went to a BBQ and Grandma T came over to watch the kids.  We ended up back home before bedtime so I caught Pierce in his pajamas reading books with Grandma.  This is one of his new favorites!  SS1/80 f/1.8 ISO800

Day 141 6-3-11

Taking this picture in the alley after dropping off Pierce at school was the best part of my day today.  It was so nice to see Pierce playing outside and the weather was beautiful.  I wish the rest of my day had been as beautiful as these flowers soaking in the sun.  It was a rough one for me.  SS1/100 f/1.8 ISO200

Day 140 6-2-11

Pierce was playing with a toy we got from a happy meal tonight.  And what did he make it into?  The bicycle that it was supposed to be?  Some other object found in the directions in the box?  Nope, it's a flying dragon.  Roar!  SS/180 f/1.8 ISO200

Day 139 6-1-11

To be or not to be?  Kai loves doing this with his arm.  It's really cute.  Both Joe and Kai pretending to be Hamlet was too much!  SS1/80 f/1.8 ISO800

Day 138 5-31-11

Yum!  Kai kept pulling the leaves off my plants and sticking them in his mouth so when he grabbed for the lettuce this evening I thought "hey, why not?", so I let him chew on it (while monitoring him closely to make sure he didn't choke).  He thought it was great and chewed it most of the night, like a little cow!  I think it's funny he also has raspberry all over his clothes and face from the dinner that he decided to wear instead of eat.  Oh, Kai!  SS1/125 f/1.8 ISO100
